The club welcomes all levels of ability and offers lessons, clinics and tournaments that facilitate upskilling and having fun.
The club had an upgrade in 2011, with a new clubhouse and 4 state of the art courts.

"This is a club that is definitely open to new members and new friendships. It's one of those places where you will never feel like an outsider." Cindy Lunau
A Brief History of the NTC
The Nassagaweya Tennis Club dates back to 1976. At that time, the Town of Milton maintained 3 enclosed asphalt tennis courts on Guelph Line, north of the 401, on the South East corner of 5 Sideroad. In addition to the courts, there was a one-story building on the North East corner which housed a volunteer fire department. A section of the building, consisting of 3 rooms, served as the NTC meeting room and clubhouse. In the Spring of 1976, a number of residents in the Nassagaweya/Campbelville area formed a steering committee with the goal of establishing a member-run tennis club at this site. This effort was fuelled by Walter Trachenko and Larry Arbic. The committee met regularly to plan and implement the development of the facility, funded through membership fees and support from the Town of Milton and Wintario grants. The committee was proud of the landscaped viewing platform and recreational area for children, as well as preparing plans for clubhouse renovations. The Nassagaweya Tennis Club, named to reflect local heritage, officially opened in April 1977. This first full year in operation saw more than 450 members. From this day on the club has be run by volunteers. |
